Sharif Khalid Mahmud (PhD)

Sharif is a lecturer in Accounting at the Sheffield University Management School in the UK. He has a strong interest in Corporate Governance, Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Sharif currently sits on the Executive Steering Committee of the British Accounting and Finance Association Special Interest Group on Corporate Governance. He holds a PhD in Corporate Governance and CSR from Henley Business School, University of Reading. Sharif also holds an MSc in Energy Management from the Robert Gordon University, UK and a BA (Hons) from the University of Cape Coast in Ghana.

Sharif’s presence on the board confirms Greenworld’s commitment to Transparency and Accountability especially at a time that good corporate governance has become a major issue for the corporate world following recent high profile corporate scandals most of which have been attributed to poor or bad corporate governance practices.
